Lastly, we would additionally like to thank the Ludington Area for the wonderful hospitality to all of the visiting anglers.

The Ludington & Scottville area offers visitors a restful and affordable experience, while providing residents a year round haven for the outdoor enthusiast. The area offers more than 7 miles of white sandy beaches, the National Wild and Scenic Pere Marquette River, the largest charter fishing fleet on the Great Lakes, Ludington State Park, Manistee National Forest, and the SS Badger.

Hamlin Lake is truly an all sports, four season recreational area. The lake is known for its clear, fish-rich water. Located four miles north of Ludington, just inside Ludington State Park, Hamlin Lake is protected by the towering dunes on the north and west shores and is surrounded by National Forest and state land. This man-made lake is more than 12 miles long and 5,000 acres large with 32 miles of shoreline and has an average depth of 17 feet and a maximum depth of 79 feet.
